Going back to our wonderful IIM days, I remember you as a perfect all-rounder and an affable person. I also remember you as an outstanding athlete and sportsperson. You had a very interesting journey in IIMA. You have built a great enterprise and over the years, being a true entrepreneur and you have brought so many friends together because you have a big heart.

I remember meeting Murali in the late 90s and since then it has been more than 2 decades and the more one knows about him, the more one realizes he is a man with a golden heart. Whenever someone is in any need, the 1st person that they think of is Muralidharan. He is the voice of the helpless. Hyderabad would be incomplete if he were not around.

From the time I came to know you better, 2011 or so, when Kasturi Trust, our NGO took over 10 schools and that’s when you said ‘We would like to take 1 of your schools’. You are precious, kind and Rasoolpura was the result. There are rare men & women who actually think serving humanity is the right thing to do. But amongst the rare people, those who are as self-effacing as you, seek very little glory. May your tribe increase!

Murali, what makes you different and wonderful is your ability not only to be a good human being but also a good entrepreneur. Your calmness, your strategic thinking, your ability to connect the dots are your strengths. I can rely & can call on you, I can grieve with you, I can celebrate with you. Your humble beginnings, great upbringing, and a great team has made you what you are.

I know you have wonderful things in the making. What I enjoy most working with you is straightforward questions and getting to the bottom of an issue..

I remember the day you brought the Udbhav School Proposal to our general body. I was skeptical whether we can really pull it off. But the entrepreneurial spirit you brought on board to a not-for-profit situation has really enabled it to grow to what it is today. That is the legacy you brought to our chapter which we can be proud of.

Murali, you have achieved a lot of accolades and heights during the year of life which you have just completed by serving FICCI, State Government, Central Government and many other organisations.
